Limassol (Lemesos) is the next largest city of Cyprus after Nicosia. It has the largest port in the transit trade of the Mediterranean and has become an important tourism centre. There are many archaeological sites and museums to visit for those who wish to view the history of Limassol. Limassol is located on the south coast of Cyprus and was built between the ancient cities of Kourion and Amathus.
