Established in 1933, by Frixos Markides, who was considered to be a doyen of the legal profession of Cyprus, the firm is one of the oldest in Cyprus.
The Firm was later expanded in the 1980s and 1990s, by a merger with the Law Office of the late John Spanopoulos. Dependable leadership coupled with unrivalled strategic depth allowed the Firm to stay in the forefront of a business landscape growing increasingly global. When the ex-Attorney General, Mr Alecos Markides, re-joined the Firm as legal consultant in 2003 and later as a Partner, the core competencies of the Firm were further enhanced in the face of far reaching changes triggered by the accession of Cyprus to the European Union.
The Firm is characterized by a careful blend of this regard for tradition with an equally important commitment to exploiting the advances in information technology required by todayβs worldwide market place. All of our operations are on-line, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency no matter where our clients may be, and we continuously upgrade our systems to remain in the forefront of innovation.
It is the Firmβs strong belief that we must endeavour to achieve the best results for our clients while sparing them as much stress as possible. Both in Cyprus and internationally, our clients depend on all members and staff of the Firm to uphold the highest standards of excellence.
